Marriage

So we are married! It's kind of the best thing ever!
So 12.20.14. was the best day... it poured rain. It was cold. My dress got destroyed. I have no idea how our wedding photo turned out. But all of my favorite people were there and I got to marry my best friend, so still the best day.

So the day before the big day, I took work off... that was actually really strange and I constantly thought about what each of my kids were doing every minute of the day... teacher withdrawls... anyways, I went up to SLC to hang out with my number one lady... NOODLES! We had afternoon tea at the Grand America. I took selfies in the bathroom because it cost more than any house I will ever be able to afford. Then after Sethboi's last final of college we went and looked at the lights. I basically chased Cove around the whole night... thanks for keeping me not fat the day before my wedding my dear nephew.

So 12.20.14. I woke up at 7. WOW getting dolled up is kind of the worst! It took 3 hours for me to look like an acceptable human being. Props to my sister  in law for putting up with me. Then we went to temple and I saw the tallest most cute boy ever... and good thing it was my almost husband. Everyone in the whole world got married on 12.20.14.... seriously 50 brides in one day! It was a mad house! Seth and I sat in the temple for a while before we got sealed because there were so many people, but it was perfect as we giggled like school girls and were excited as 5 year olds on Christmas day to start forever. Our sealing could have not been more perfect. I was overcome with so many emotions as we walked into the room, seeing all those who have been there for me. My parents. Siblings. Friends. Aunts. Uncles. Mission Companions. Roommates. New Family. Mission President. Everyone I love most in this world. I bawled like a baby from happiness and peace that I felt.
Here are our first pictures as Mr. and Mrs. Porter (still waiting for the real photos from our amazing photographer)

Yeap.... it poured on our wedding day

Seth's cousin made our wedding cake... it was delicious

How lucky am I?

So our wedding day was perfect. We got sealed at the Salt Lake Temple and had a luncheon with our closest friends and family at the Grand America.

Oh and we went to Jamaica! It was perfect and ridiculously relaxing!

 Jamaican Christmas

We celebrated Christmas a little early... Seth got me a new ipad
This is basically all we did ... drink Pina Coladas

I love 12.20.14. My husband, marriage and Jamaica.
